Stories from tables around the world

This introduces Colombia’s coffee culture with a cup of coffee.

Origin and food culture

Colombia is a country that produces a wide range of coffee depending on its mountains and climate. Coffee cultivation and processing are also linked to the daily life and tourism culture of many regions. The UNESCO World Heritage-listed Coffee Cultural Landscape of Colombia shows the relationship between the natural environment and farming communities. The aroma and flavor of a cup can change depending on variety, processing method, and roast level.

What is it usually eaten with?

Coffee can be enjoyed after a meal, during a break, or with a snack. It can also be tasted while paying attention to differences in aroma based on variety and roast level. Snacks are not included in today’s offering, and the exact form in which coffee is served must be checked on site.
